All Animal Eye Services is a fully equipped eye hospital for animals.
Our hospital contains specialised equipment, necessary to thoroughly examine animal eyes for signs of diseases. Equipment commonly used includes a specialised biomicroscope as well as indirect and direct ophthalmoscopes. These provide illumination and magnification of the ocular tissues to detect any abnormalities of the orbit, globe, eyelids, ocular surface, intraocular structures and retina. In some cases, further specialised diagnostic tests are employed to make a definitive diagnosis, determine an accurate prognosis and provide appropriate treatment. Examples of this specialised equipment include electroretinography, ocular ultrasound, specialised ocular stains, gonioscopy and tonometry.
All Animal Eye Services has ready access to other specialist imaging modalities such as CT & MRI. These facilities are conveniently located in close proximity to our hospital.

Surgical procedures performed at All Animal Eye Services occur in a specialised operating theatre containing an operating microscope and the latest in advanced anaesthetic equipment. Routinely performed surgeries include advanced plastic eyelid surgery, corneal surgery, cryosurgery and laser surgery as well as intraocular surgeries such as phacoemulsification cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation.
Anaesthetised animals are monitored with the latest in anaesthetic equipment and closely observed throughout all surgical procedures by a dedicated ophthalmic nurse. Our veterinary specialists frequently update their knowledge in the discipline of anaesthetic medicine and routinely and safely anaesthetise diabetics, neonates and geriatric patients for ophthalmic surgical procedures.
Most surgeries are planned as outpatient day procedures for the convenience of owners and the comfort of patients. Patients requiring overnight monitoring are admitted to the 24 hour Animal Emergency Centre located nearby. For your convenience, our staff can provide transportation for your pet to and from the emergency clinic.
If you would like more information about our clinic or would like to schedule an appointment, please contact our friendly staff and they will be more than happy to help you with your enquiry.
